Porto Flavia

Located in the marine area of Masua, Porto Flavia is the most characteristic result of Sardinian mining engineering
dating back to 1924. It comprises two 600 m long superimposed tunnels that open directly onto the sea
and are separated by huge silos for storing minerals. It is at that point that you can observe this unique port, suspended between sea and sky, on a rock wall upon which the words
“Porto Flavia” stand out and from which you can admire the beautiful rock called Pan di
Zucchero.
